Word Perv

Unbeknownst to me, today, August 31st, is the 4th annual BlogDay. BlogDay allows you to post about 5 blogs you find interesting and want to share with your readers. I never knew such a thing existed until Jen over at One Wandering was kind enough to list little ole me as one of her five (in fact, I’m the first one she listed. Oh yeah baby!). So without further ado, here are 5 of my favorite blogs, not including Jen who’s already listed above. Go ahead and check them out. Tell ‘em Word Perv sent you. They’ll understand.

No Ordinary Rollercoaster - Ben is one of my favorite bloggers and I get excited when a new post pops up in my reader. I cannot wait until I have a reason to go visit him in Canada so we can meet and drink a little too much and attack newf with a doggie butt or two. (Read his blog people and this will all make sense!)

Surviving Myself - Chris is a New Yorker whose daily observations make me laugh my ass off. And really people, who doesn’t want that?

The Melodramatic - Mel lives in the cold recesses of Michigan and is, without a doubt, my closest blogger friend. We’ve never met in person, but I feel like I know her and I’m not-so-secretly plotting to get her to come visit me as soon as she can.

Dooce - Okay, okay, everyone already knows how great this blog is. Heather has won damn near every friggin’ blog award out there. She also supports her family with her blog. So she’s my hero because she has the job I want.

Helmet’s Blogapalooza - Helmey is obnoxious and obsessed with writing about ninjas, pirates, and peeing. You can’t help but be amused by it all.
