What $10 Buys…
Money doesn’t go far these days. We’re in a recession people, though our elected officials like to pretend we’re not. Ultimately it doesn’t matter what you label it, everyone is watching how they spend their money and are looking for ways to pinch pennies. So I decided to evaluate what $10 could buy me, with regards to the things I usually purchase.
$10 can buy me a book of 20 first-class postage stamps ($8.40) and 5 postcard stamps ($1.35).
$10 can buy me 2.703 gallons of gas.

$10 can buy me 3 cups of Starbucks coffee, a tall soy latte please!
$10 can buy me 5 pounds of Golden Delicious apples (my favorite, I eat one every day!)
Or, $10 can buy me this cute little sundress that I scored on clearance. Now that, dear readers, is bargain shopping!

Love the dress!
That dress is adorable!!
Wow…. Is there ANYTHING you don’t look good in? Nice dress!!
Why didn’t you get the dress in red?
Speaking of which, I’ve been told this year’s theme for RDR is “red light district.” Well!!!
EXCELLENT FIND, my dear! That dress looks great on you, not that much in the way of clothing *doesn’t*…
Love, love, love the dress. You need to take me shopping! I want to find something like that for $10!
Well. Honestly. Of course it only cost $10! All of your dresses should cost $10! … It takes hardly any fabric to fit around such a tiny (HOTT) person. That’s why all the cute dresses are so small all the time. They are cost-efficient to make!
I have figured it all out. I can sleep easy tonight.
Also, I just love that dress. The colors are great!
You must have Honeygold apples from MN this fall. They are my favorite!
Pretty dress! LOVE IT!
Love the dress and it is perfect for you.
That cute little sundress and you define destiny…
