The Life and Shenanigans of Courtney Birst

Worth Every Single Penny

First, an advance apology to all the men who read my blog because today you probably aren’t going to give a rat’s ass about what I’m about to write. But since I have blogged enough about my tits, ass, and the obscene amount of money I spent on lingerie while in Paris, you’ll just have to grin and bear it for this post.

Ladies (and guys with long hair who seek sleek, smooth, frizz-free hair) - listen up! I have found what could be the most amazing flat iron known to man…er….woman. May I present, the CHI.

It is a thing of beauty with its ceramic plates that heat in sheer seconds, gliding your hair to smooth perfection. And really - isn’t $100 worth it for the best hair ever?! Well I certainly think it is. And thank you Tamera for introducing me to this wonderful thing. How did I ever live without it?! See how great my hair looks:

There is a small drawback though. Ben, it would appear that if you were to ever grow your hair long (good god man! Why would you do such an atrocious thing?!), you’ll have to deal with it in whatever condition it may be - frizzy, wavy, etc. Why you ask? Well dear friend, because you live in Canada!

Also strange - apparently you’re not supposed to flat iron your eyes. Weird. I was just about to try but saw the warning label. Whew! Disaster avoided!

  1. Straightening irons saved my life. I couldn’t afford the CHI, so I got its buddy the FHI. Same brand, really, but the slightly cheaper one (It’s the Old Navy to Gap). It’s pink and works just as good!

  2. Good lord woman, I would never EVER grow my hair long! EVEREVEREVER.

Now straightening my eyes…THAT’s something I could get into.

  3. I love the CHI. It’s awesome. It’s been there for me when the humidity gets too high and when the few curls want to come out and play . :)

  4. I love the CHI also! I have had it for quite a few years, and I’m on my second one. I couldn’t do it without it. I use it ALL the time!

Holy crap! Being a college student, $100 is more than I have in my checking account. Are the plates made of gold?
Does the iron give you dating advice? I can make you something with ceramic plates for $100 too! :)

  6. blah…

  7. Wow - such pretty hair. I sometimes wish I needed a hair straightener - but my hair is already straight as a stick. It will not curl… at all… well, don’t we all wish for what we can’t have? But, I do love the hair!

  8. I need a Chi! It would fantastic for my super long hair.

Also, I love the fact that right now I’m reading this post about the CHI and in your sidebar there is an ad for the e HANA Elite flat iron! hahaa

  9. [...] When the humidity leaves the air and my hair is suddenly sleek and frizz free without the assistance of my lovely CHI. [...]
