Word Perv

One year ago yesterday I started this shiny blog with this post. So much has happened in the past year. I’ve posted about the infamous List and the countless home improvement projects I undertook in the past year. I’ve posted about running and therapy and drinking way too much red wine with my girlfriends. I’ve posted about my separation and the emotional aftermath I encountered as my heart broke and healed repeatedly. I’ve posted about Daisy and the joy she brings to my life. I’ve posted about the things my friends and I do to amuse ourselves, the things others do to amuse me. I’ve posted about poetry and more poetry. I’ve posted recipes that are sweet and simple, that require a pro to prepare, and that are intended for my four-legged friends.  And now of course, I’ve re-entered the realm of dating, which has proved funny, sweet, and incredibly bizarre.

Essentially I’ve posted about damn near anything and everything that has occured in my life over the past year. I’ve used this blog as an outlet and a creative forum. I’ve gotten support from so many people and I’ve grown to love this little blog of mine.

So thank you dear friends and readers. My readership is in the tens of thousands (with over 200,000 hits in the past year - oh yeah baby!) and a huge and sincere thank you goes out to those who check in regularly. I couldn’t do it without you.
